Period: 1918–1945

Thanks to the help of various volunteers, they managed to obtain visas. A few left by plane, but for most people, the start of their new life was Wilson Station, today Prague’s main station. First, they went by train to Poland and then by further trains to Gdynia, from whence they continued by boat to Sweden or Britain.
